The Silverheels 26 is ideal for a fast reponse rescue vessel.
Overview
The Silverheels 26 is a full featured fast response /rescue vessel, designed for extreme use.
The most recent boat was delivered to the City of Klawock, in Southeast Alaska, for use as a first response and EMS vessel. Featuring a “Softlite” Ionomer foam flotation collar/fender and full “police boat” accessories, this boat has proven to be fast, safe and seaworthy.
This boat met all the specific requirement of the City of Klawock, among them being the ability to carry a Stokes stretcher both on the aft deck and in the heated house. It also needed to fit in a short dock slip, hence its length at 26 feet. Powered by two 140 h.p. outboard, it cruises at 30 knots. The ample interior is all maintenance free aluminum. With a dive door and towing bracket, this boat is truly “all purpose”.
